I get horrible performace out of full screen video.
The reason you get such crappy performance is due to the fact that there is no hardware
acceleration for video on the Voodoo 3....just 3D. Also, you are running on a 50MHz bus, and you are running a G3 upgrade on that. It is just infeasable to expect similar performance to a similarly speeded but newer system...for instance, my B&W has a 100MHz bus and a 450MHz processor...and it smokes and upgraded 500MHz pre-G3 simply due to having twice the bandwidth avaliable. FInally, if you want good full screen video on your Mac, I suggest picking up a Rage 128 or Radeon, these can be had at ebay or at most mac retailers for a fairly cheap price.
