For instance:

 A1  B1     A2  B2     A3  B3     A4  B4
64M 64M    16M 16M     8M  8M     4M  4Meg  =184Meg of RAM, all interleaved

  On occasion, some people have reported problems when interleaving RAM,
usually on a G3 or G4 upgrade, and I know Sonnet recommends de-interleaving
the RAM as *one* of it's troubleshooting procedures, but I've interleaved on
both my G3/225 and G4/700 without any problems.

  (BUT, I did begin having lots of memory errors after upgrading to the G4;
it seems some processors (G4s?) are very picky which memory it will work
with, and I ended up removing all of my 'older' memory, leaving just my
newer 128 meg sticks. I had also used a mix of EDO & FPM memory, which was
no issue with the G3, but may have caused instability with my G4. With the
older memory gone and now using only EDO, I re-interleaved my memory without
trouble. GaugePro memory testing now shows zero errors. I could just as
well have stuck with FPM, but my new 128's were all EDO.)

  It's also been said that for best reliability, use matching RAMs when
interleaving, if possible; same manufacturer, lot number, etc., but it's not
required.

  Also, you can interleave just some of the RAM; it doesn't have to all be
interleaved...
