---I was wondering what makes a modem initial? After installing AOL 5.0, it made a query for my modem type. Told me it could find any modem. It told me I needed a TCP or LAN. Upon opening the program, it told me could not initialize the modem. The modem is a Best Data 56k and it's perfect. Is there an extension that makes a modem initial?? Thanks from hot Texas!!
