PowerTowerPro has 12 RAM slots, too, doesn't it?
Alas if only this were so ... then there'd be no dilemma
Some listers have mentioned that a 9600/350 is good enough not to need a G3 upgrade.
i already have a g3-400 daughter card upgrade i just haven't installed it yet as I figure out what i want to build will all the parts i have here
Have they fixed the problem with OSX and the RCA jacks in the older machines?Cheapest way to go would seem 8500 in a 7500 case, full video if you want to do movies
(BTW "pizza box" is a 6100 or LC III).
Like a sparc 20 box? i guess the proper term would be "Desk top" Vs "Tower" for the 7500 and 8500?
2 hard drives, CD, floppy in the box, and everything else has to be external, though.
I'm looking at going to my 1 x 20GB HD (right now in the Power Tower i have 4 smaller HD's) CD burner, CD ROM,
Could i remove the floppy and put in another HD? for 4 things in the 7500 case?--
