It would be cheaper/easier to buy a used G3 desktop base on eBay and add a $35 card to that.
The G3 might set you back a whole $20. I saw one there for really cheap when I was looking for something else the other day.
I would never put anymore money into a NUBUS Mac when PCI Macs are easy to be had, such as 7600's.
