I just won a cd/rw unit from ebay and its an internal unit. I should get it in a few days.
I understand I can convert it to an external unit by just putting it in a case. Where can I get a case for this ? I f anyone has any further suggestions about this unit I'm all ears!!

The Yamaha SCSI CDRWs are good little workhorses. You will need a copy of Toast to burn with it. You can get cases for these on the swap list-- http://lowendmac.com/lists/swap.html They normally go in the 10-15 range with shipping additional.
