Hello, yesterday I got myself some MP3's. To my surprise, all of the musci box I used to playback (Apple's Quicktime player, Audion 2.1 and the antique Mac Amp) gave a bizarre sound. It sounded like the voices were absent like in a karaoke session. With Audion, I could understand cause it has a karaole option. It was unchecked. But with Mac Amp and QT Player, I don't understand. Plus, the music is played in a jerky way with lot of echo and wah-wah. My 6500/275 came with the 3d sound system. Turned it off but no can do too. Do I point in the right direction? Quicktime extensions missing, too advanced players (or too old audio on my 6500) or bad encoding? Your help would be useful. Note that when I burn a CD with mp3, they play clear and crisp.
