Hey fellow Listers

Well I got my 7200 CDROM in my 7300. It was a simple plug and play no SCSI
problems whatsoever! The new drive is a 8x whereas the old one was 12x but I
cant really tell a difference. My father gave me the 7200 and a old
Performa 6205CD, and told me "here one of these CDROMS has to work" Talk
about a dinosaur! I can remember when the PowerPC's first hit the market,
what a big deal that was! I think he paid $25 for the performa at the
goodwill computer store in austin tx

Bonus! I popped the case of the performa open and discovered that it uses
the same type of RAM as my wife's PeeCee. I installed the two 32 meg SIMMS
into her dell. So now her Dell is humming along with 80 megs of RAM. So its
been a busy/good night here thanks again to all !
