In our quest for a cheap replacement I found (read free) an Apple GeoPort telecom Adapter, that looks like an external modem that would plug into a serial port..... I however don't have and can't find software for it to use on the 7500 (I think she is running OS 9.1 but has at least 8.6)>> I don't know where AZ is however it sounds like a place I would like to be. You can find Geoport software at: http://www.info.apple.com/support/oldersoftwarelist.html#netcom Scroll down to the link that starts with Macintosh/Networking Communications/Apple_Telecom/Geoport, etc. I don't know if it this software is compatible with 8.6 or 9.1 If you are referring to the Geoport "pod" modem adapter, IIRC it drains the CPU of some processing power (not good on the original 601/100 MHz 7500 processor) and thus was not a modem of choice.
