--- I just bought a PM 8600 and opened it up to see
what "goodies" the previous owner had installed. I
noticed an ethernet PCI card was there. Now-If the the
PM already has 2 ethernet sockets in the back as part
of their design, why would they add a PCI card that
does the same thing?? I know there's a logical
explanation but I'm still trying to learn this
ethernet thing. Keep it simple-I baffle easily. Daveed
