If you want to save your data, as Fred said, get a new hard drive 
quick and copy your files.  A Noisy Hard Drive is an accident waiting 
to happen, especially if the hd was your 7300's first!

Hello,

I have a Power Mac 7300. Over the past month its original 2GB 
Quantum Fireball hard drive has been buzzing and making other noises 
when I turn on the computer. Is there anyway to stop this from 
happening?
