Doesn't anyone remember the Compaq EZ PC? it was sold by radio Shack, came
with a celeron, "firewire", and was entirely USB driven (keyboard and mouse
took USB form not PS2), and it came out around 99-'00. It was blue and
mostly screw less. Plus it came with wonderful Windows ME. It had a little
LCD on the top that displayed things like the time and whether it was on or
not. it had quick buttons next to the LCD for email, internet, and the
button to power it on said "start" and there on the LCD displayed "start
here" and an arrow pointing to the start button. How cute...how Apple-like?
And my PM 7500 still kicked its ass.
