I've got a 4400/200 and a 256K L2 cache slot that came with the motherboard (from the same seller). If I put the L2 cache module in the machine wouldn't boot. It makes a startup sound but no picture appears and no other sounds are heard. If I remove the L2 cache module it boots up and works normally. What would that mean? Bad L2 cache module? Bad L2 cache slot? Anything else? I shifted the memory sticks around to no avail. I only have one 4400 motherboard and one L2 cache slot so I can't try it anywhere else.
Regards, Boris
