Definitely do the upgrade. (fixed many bugs) What OS are you using? I run VPC
2.x on OS 7.6.1. I believe it will run on 8.1 also, but newer OS = newer
version.
FWIW, I ran 2.1.3 with win 95 on a J700/233 604e os 8.6 and on beige G3s with a G4 533 upgrade and a stock G3 266 running OS 9.2.2. VPC 2.x will not run in classic on OS X, I don't know what is the first version that will.
Don't forget to up the memory in the VPC application, this will give you more ram for running windows.
