I found a Western Digital hard drive in a box of "junk" I bought and was
wondering if it would work in my 8600.

The specs are 18.3 GB 10K RPM - Ultra 160M. It has a 68 pin female plug
on it. The shape around the pins for the connector to go over is a
trapezoid, not square. Is that what a 68 pin connector is supposed to look
like?

Is that what I keep seeing people on the swap list selling a 68 pin to
50 pin connector for? Does anyone have any experience with this type of
drive in a PCI Mac?

Thanks for any help,

Kevin
