I have a G3AIO currently running 10.2. Back when I did the upgrade to about
10.2.3 or 10.2.4, the ColorSync profile would stop being loaded on reboot.
The contrast is turned all the way down, so everytime I reboot I have to go
to SYSTEM PREFS > DISPLAY > COLOR and go into the calibration utility to
turn the contrast back up to full. If I go right back into the calibration
util right away, the contrast slider is back at the lowest setting (but the
contrast to the picture is still fine). Also recently this mac has stopped
keeping time properly so I keep the network time synchronization option
enabled now.

I thought all this was due to a dead PRAM battery (the clock not keeping
time was the big tipper) so I went and bought a new one. Well the problems
have not gone away. I installed the new PRAM battery but the G3 still won't
keep time and still won't keep its color settings (contrast and brightness)

Is there something else it could possibly be? something i'm missing?

James
