I bought a G3 All-in-One on Ebay in a borken state. At $60 it was a chance, but

Long story short... I replaced the power supply (another $20) and it works fine
now.

The monitor output was of great quality, until I reassembled the case (RF
shielding, plastic outer shield) and now it is dark, fuzzy, and barely
readable, even at the highest brightness/contrast settings.

Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this?

You apparently have jostled the inside monitor calibration settings. I don't touch those so I can't tell you
how to readjust. Someone on this list might.. BE CAREFUL
One question -- why not buy a 7600 for about $69? It would have given you a lot more expansion
possibilities (G4) and holds more RAM.
