Germain, that's what I did.  Put a 400 CPU in my 6500, added an external 40
gig HD & am quite happy with it.  Yes, I only have 128 ram, but since I am
not heavy into graphics, I find it quite sufficient.

I am thinking of buying a G4 eMachine while they still will run the Classic
9 as well as the X+ & networking the two together.  All my peripherals are
serial port plug ins, although I do have a Firewire/USB card installed.
Don't want to buy new printer, scanner, etc. as I don't use them enough to
warrant the expense.
