First post to this list - the second time I've been on it. ;-)
Basic intro:
Mac user for the last few years and have been accumulating Macs and making them work in place of PCs I have at home. *grin*
I need a little guidance here:
I recently got an A/V module for my 6500/250 (0) and am wondering if that is all I need as far as internal hardware is concerned. I don't need the TV card or the second video DB15 cable (which I think is rubberbanded inside the box) for the AV to work do I?
What I'm trying to accomplish here is to use that system for basic cut->paste video editing since I can't afford a B&W G3 at the moment and would have to buy an AV device for that anyway.
So what this system will be doing is running iMovie or FCP 2.0 and exporting the final movies to mpeg format for conversion and burning on another system.
Thus I'm looking for the best way to make the 6500 work for me in this manner. Not knowing enough I may have to buy more parts but the system is almost full right now.
Any help?
