hello there

I recently bought an oldish Yamaha internal scsi cd/rw unit and
an external case to put it in. The ribbon connector is a long way
inside the case so I assume I have to take the back off the case or do
I just take off the scsi connector off the back of the case first?

Sorry if this is too OT but I was wondering if someone might have a
quick answer to this ?

cheers

Michael

Open the case. Mount the drive.( assuming you set the ID and termination properly) Connect the SCSI ribbon and power connector.Close the case.Connect the SCSI cable and restart the computer. Use Drive Setup to find the new HD. -- Adrian
