There is an ad here listing a Certified Date USB PCI Card for 17.99 ($CDN) and a Certified Data PCI USB 2.0 at 29.99 ($CDN). Would these work in a PowerMac 7500 running OS8.6? Which one is better? Has anyone tried these?
USB 1.1 cards for Macs need to be OHCI compliant; most are these days. The USB 2.0 card *may* work; both require the Apple USB extensions.
As far as better, since you're only ever getting USB 1.1 speeds out of the Mac, the cheaper one is (if it works).
