On the other hand other programs run decent even when the CPU is being eaten up. I can still listen to MP3's through iTunes and write this email. Try that in a windows box. And you think they would be able to to it with today's high end CPU's. I mean come on, I have an AMD 2200+ and when it gets pegged thats it, either wait or kill the app causing it, no way can I use anything else. So I am thoroughly impressed with Apple's ability at maintaining a sound operating environment despite 100% CPU usage. how do they do it? Seriously I want to know Apple certified techs!?
Also, I know that limewire helps you download and steal MP3's. The only MP3's I steal are literally and honestly ones that I CANNOT find anywhere else, even online. For example, Hum, try and find a Hum album now a days. Or some rare bootleg Pearl Jam or live Counting Crows that isn't on any of their albums. or this awesome Radiohead and Portishead combo song, or some live Bjork stuff. And I feel guilty for doing it but I just can't find this stuff any where else. And I don't have to record Enterprise episodes because I can get them online. So for any arguments I am sure this will fuel, please just ignore the email and call me a thief off the list. I don't want to piss the list mom off any more with another unending thread.
Thanks a million in advance,
