I'd eat my hat if one could write 800K... Why do you want 800K exactly? Not
really clear? Anyway, if the machines are not located far from each other
you could use file sharing with ethernet, or get a USB zip drive (much more
useful really) or email the data across (quite sensible if we are talking
800k amounts of data and you have modems for each)
