I just did a fresh install of OS 9.1 on a second harddrive in my 8600.
After the installation, when the computer rebooted in 9, my HD with OS X
installed was not mounted. I kept getting a message saying this drive can't
be read by this computer. My attempts to remount the drive with Hard Disk
Speed tools have failed.
How can I get back into X now? I disconected the drive with 9
installed, but it still would not boot into X. i also tried holding down
option, delete, and every other key I can think of, but it didn't work. Any
thoughts?
Thanks,
Kevin
