Thanks Adrian... but where do I get a copy of 8.1 or 8.6 to use on the beast?
You will need an OS 8 or above CD > At *.5 it is a rewrite. . 8.1 and 8.6 are free upgrades from the Apple site .
But they are also on disk.
The Low End Mac swap list has these at very reasonable prices. Just post a message with " WTB " and the desired OS in the subject line. I've seen 7500 mobos and cpus go for as little as $ 5.00 each plus shipping( $ 10-15 average ). These are the upgrade path for the 7200 and you will appreciate the difference. Your RAM and VRAM will transfer as will you drives.
