Try SoundApp. It does multiple formats, play lists, etc.
It should be available via macupdate.com or versiontracker.com
SoundApp is really the greatest ! mp3 player it has also some mystic abillity to match music that blends well into each other, easy to operate and with conversition to other formats, it can play formats that quicktime etc not touches, fast abc abled playlists (you can get to s as in steely dan by the s on the keybord and turn off the screen and use the arrowbuttons to change)
