So, I'm thinking OS X 10.2 (or 10.3) and iTunes 4. You can share you music with that no problem.........

There is a patch for iTunes to run under 8.6 (I forget where I donwloaded it). If you plan on installing IDE drives for music I suggest you go the way of a SCSI bridge like Acard's and not connect via PCI Ultra ATA controller because of "audio stuttering."
