Unfortunately no more lower bus slots, so the Radeon 7000 goes in the top, along with a Soundblaster and 10/100 NIC.
Just wondering if it is possible to run a SoundBlaster Audigy 2 in a 9600?
How would one get full functionality for 24/96 recording, Firewire/SPDIF/MIDI/audio connections, Surround Sound playback, remote control, etc.?
No, you need the Soundblaster Live! for Macintosh. Unfortunately, Creative abandoned all support for the card shortly after its release. I found the software a bit flakey with OS 8.6 but no problems after moving to 9.2.2.
