A G3/9.1 with an HP DeskJet 948c attached to a USB PCI card is networked (AppleTalk) using a 10/100 Ethernet hub to a G4/9.1 and an 800 Mhz iBook running 10.3.1. USB print sharing is enabled on the G3 and the entry for the HP 948c has sharing enabled on the centre tab of the USB print sharing dialogue box. The printer works fine on the G3, but neither the G4 or the iBook can see the shared printer. The same hub successfully shared an Epson C41 printer attached via a PCI USB card on a 9600/200/9.1 with a 7300/180/8.6.
