I use a separate partition for the Classic OS 9.1 (specifically NOT using 9.2 ... according to Sonnet)
Both my machines have ATA drives, but only one is using a SCSI harddrive as well. Both have SCSI CDRoms in use and external SCSI devices.
OS X is very particular as to well-terminated SCSI chains.
Good Luck,
Bill

It seems that those who have gotten OS X to work have either a IDE card or
USB, is either one or both of these required to get OS X to work? My 9600
w/ Sonnet 450/1 card would not get far into the install before getting an
error. However, I don't have an ATA or USB card installed. Could that be
the problem?
Thanks, David
