does anyone else have problems sending email to this list ??There should be a setting in any of those mail clients to allow you to use something other than UTF-8 character encoding. I normally use Mozilla for mail, so I can't give any specifics, but I'll see if I can fire up OE next time I boot into OS 9 and see what the settings are.
I keep getting this error when sending from Outlook, Outlook Express and Opera mail clients even when sending in plain text:
Failed to deliver to '<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>'
LIST module(list pci-powermacs) reports:
Your message cannot be posted.
It is composed using the 'utf-8' character set,
and this list accepts ISO-8859-1 only
is there anything that the list moderator can do to change this or is this so that legacy macs are able to email to the list???
Cheers.
Andy
Or just use Eudora Pro and have everything work perfectly the first time, every time.
