Here's my set-up:
--PM 7500 with upgraded 200MHz 604e processor, 128MB RAM (129MB w/ VM), Mac OS 9.1
--Yamaha CDR100 burner
--Toast USB 3.8 (essentially Toast 3.5.7 modified by LaCie for some of its burners)
--Memorex 700MB CD-R
The behavior: I created a disk image with Disk Copy, copy the files to it, and then choose "Mac Volume" to burn the CD-R. Toast will start burning the disk, then after a minute or two quits with the error message. Although the message gives me an "OK" button to click, it doesn't work and I have to force a restart with Cmd-Ctl-Power.
I have burned a number of CD-Rs with the same set-up over the past year, so I'm at a loss to explain this. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
