RPM,

Thanks ... I went the earthquake territory solution route ... already had the putty (Here' in Central VA its called Tac'N Stik by Ross) ... seems to be doing its work ... felt solid when I plugged in the USBs and FWs on one PCI card, and my monitor on another ...

Also felt appropriate to go this route, because we had a small earthquake a few weeks ago ...

Thanks ... solved two "problems" at the same time ...

Bill

I need to find a way to fasten my PCI cards in better, inside my aging PowerPC 8500s. The plastic clips that were designed to hold them in place have long since dis-integrated ... and now any movement at all could dislodge a card, and send my PC off on a tangent ...
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Bill

You could either:

1. Drill and thread your own screw holes.

2. Buy some double-sided adhesive tape or pads used for sticking posters and such to walls and cut small pieces to fit. Or maybe use a tiny ball of that clay-like puddy that we in earthquake country use to keep fragiles from sliding off of shelves. The puddy holds well but comes right off when you're done with it.
