Try plugging the MouseStick directly into the 7500 not into the keyboard. I
had problems on one of my machines if it wasn't plugged directly into the
machine. I'm not familiar with the game is it auto configuring (gamesprocket
aware) or do you need to create a game set in the mousestick control panel?
If its not gamesprocket aware then you need to configure a control set in
the gravis control panel and then turn on the setting to make the joystick
application aware so it loads the proper set when longbow is launched.

Run a diagnostic through the MouseStick Control Panel. If it doesn't check
out properly then the wire might be broken or the joystick itself is hosed.

Write me if you need more help.
By the way I have a few extra MouseSticks I'll let go cheap if anybody's
interested.
