I believe dmg files are for OS X only ... they are "disk images" and behave much like a disk such as a zip, harddrive, CD or floppy when on the desktop in X (e.g., dragging them to the trash, ejects them) ... as far as I know, you would have to open it under X, then create another file for your 9 system, say, by dragging the contents to a Zip and then opening the Zip under the 9 system...

Maybe someone knows of a better way?
