I'm considering purchasing a Performa 6214CD for my mom to use for email The information I have is that they came with a 14.4 internal modem and no Geo-ports for modems.
I have a 28.8 SupraFAXmodem is there a way I can use it on the 6214? Or would I be better off to spend more $ and buy a Power Mac 7200 and use the 28.8 on it? I do have a IIsi I was going to use but it seems that I would be better off buying one of the newer CPUs so I can use 8.6 and then she can use the later version of IE which has a more IMHO user friendly interface.
