use the option+click 'save to disk' shortcut (?) instead of clicking  
on
the link  the dwnlad manager should grab it.

 --- I have been baffeled by the .wmv format. If I try
 to download a .wmv file, my browser opens a new window
 as if to download it but the screen is blank. In other
 words it won't download into my HD. Comments?
