10.3 won't install on this machine (without a hack like XPostFacto).  The
earliest machine that will support 10.3 is the Blue&White G3 and the
original iMac because they have built-in USB.  A PCI USB card won't cut it.

I, having no experience in hacking Mac OSs to work on older machines, have no clue about XPostFacto. Would it "trick" the install of 10.3 to install w/o built-in usb in this case?
