Well, yes, Adrian, if different speeds of Ram cause probs, you are right. I
had thought the PCI machines with varied Ram sticks default to the slowest
with no further probs - unless there is an issue on top with some of the
Ram... But I don't actually know. If one knows the speeds, then here is a
handle on seeing if it is causing the prob. One way, if speed is known, is
to run machine with sticks all the same speed and see if freezes happen. If
not known, then to use single sticks alone if possible, even trying to boot
off small OS systems on CD if necessary (if the Ram is really small)
