I have a 6500 with Sonnet G3 400 CPU upgrade.. I have been told that my
memory max with this machine is 128. How did you get the 6400 up to 264M?
Although the 6500 was the next model after the 6400, I believe they are very
similar. I would love to "up" the memory but there are only 2 slots with a
64M max for each slot as far as I've been able to ascertain. If anyone knows
how to add memory under these circumstances, please let me know. I did add a
firewire/USB card, but don't think this has any bearing on memory. I really
love my 6500. It is so stable & quite the workhorse. I'd love a larger
monitor, but am not will to sacrifice my "built-in" speaker system to get
one.
