ok the situation is i am going to REMOVE my USB PCI card for a SCSI PCI card. This means no USB for my Mac :(
1) But I have seen adapters (Keyspan) to connect Din8 Serial printers to a USB port. QUESTION: WILL THIS WORK IN REVERSE? I have a USB Printer that I dont use very often, but would like to use when i need it. Can I use these kinds of adapters to bring the USB signals into the serial printer port which is built-in on the PM8600? QUESTION: Will there be a Driver problem, since likely my HP printer only scans for a USB ports. (HP-G85 all-in-one printer) Or are there generic printer drivers that might work?? thanks for your help! EBC __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Get better spam protection with Yahoo!
