I have 10.2 running on PowerPC 8500s (two) ... one has a G3/500 and the other a G4/450 ...

I put the OS X partition as the (1) first partition on the drive which is (2) less than 8GB (mine 7.5GB) (requirements, for reasons I cannot remember), and the Classic one on the second ...

I confess, since I have Sonnet products, I used the Sonnet PCI X Installer ($35) ... If the 7500 is covered by Xpostfacto, I see no reason why it won't work ... check the requirements of the OS X partition size and location on the drive ... then start over with the installation procedure ...

booting from a CD is usually one way to get things going again ...

good luck ...

Good day !
I have a 7500 PCI Mac running Os Helper 9 which got me to the latest Mac OS 9.2 version
Next I tried to go to OS X 10.2
I got it to boot a few times using Xpostfacto 2.5, but now it will not
boot from CD, Floppy or any other Partiton, and I have about five on the drive
I get a Slight shifted left blank grey screen, I have seen the flying
pizza wheel, and the slash line through the Icon.

I have Diskwarrior for 10.X, ran it on all partitions and it says all is fine
Can I remove or rebuild / repair my OS X 10.2 easily , so I can use my
machine
I have tried Xpostfacto 3 to go to 10.3 but that won't work, and it won't let me reload the 10.2 either
I bought a new battery and I put it today
last time this happened I had to zap the pram to come back up and be able to boot
