There are so many things that could be going on - something could have been
shorted causing some things to go bad but not others, etc. - that the best
thing to do would be to get a new keyboard.  You can get a good keyboard on
eBay for $10 or less.

I think nobody responded because nobody has a clue what to say about it (at
least that was my "excuse" :-).
