Why is this OT? It is about a 6500, don't let the fierce crowd frighten you!

If you are opening it from inside Office 2001 PP and choose slide show and
click the mouse or arrow right, it should work (of course) ... Maybe the
program looks into plug-in folders for Windows Media Format player? Got it?
Have you tried looking at it in the free Mac PP viewer (available on line)?
How big is your slideshow, if it is not confidential and not too big (say
under 1.5 MB), you are welcome to send it to me off list and I can see if it
works on my various facilities and advise.
