I am constantly hearing the twilight zone theme. Does anybody else hear it? I'm starting to get scared. Ok, back to reality... I had drives that were doing this recently. In the first case, it was a SCSI termination issue. Once I got a good, active, terminator, it went smoothely from there. This was for a Adaptec 2940UW PCI card with 80 pin drives with 68 pin converters. In the second case, it was something to do with some memory I had recently purchased. I have no clue what the issue was, but it was sepcific to the 9600 board I was using it on (they work flawlessly in a 7500 and 7600). This was also on an Adaptec 2940UW, but then changed to whatever the card was that came in the 9650 WGS (Hammer or something). Everything is working flawlessly now. I am using FWB Hard Disk Toolkit 4.5.3. Good luck! --> Russ -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
