I have a short .wmv movie that plays fine offline in my Windows Media Player 7 and will even be triggered to so play by offline browser (eg. referencing the file in the url). It refuses to play in the browser window no matter how I set file helpers and settings. The strange thing is that when loaded up to a server (an ISP), it appears as a file of an unknown type with a question mark icon and will neither play in a browser window nor trigger the window media player nor be able to be downloaded. This has occurred with both of my .wmv files (my collection has two only, the rest are mostly QT). It's type is ASF_ and creator is Ms01. Tricky one, beats me! Means I can't post it up with confidence.
