Every day some aspect of my life comes up for which I wish there was a list and group of people as good as this one.
Like if there was a swap list for video camcorders I could find the lcd screen for my little Sharp. And If there was a swap list and mail list for bikes
I could find the front derailleur for my Mongoose. And a bike help list could help me figure out how to adjust it.
The lists I have seen for various health problems are very static. No one posts in months. And you have to log into their site to look. I think that takes away the spirit so no one participates.
We sometimes fight and snip on this list but overall this is a great asset to legacy PCI Mac users. And the swap list is great too.
I'm sure all the lists on cobweb offer the same experience.
