I have the CPU card I replaced with a G3/400 from a 9600 mobo.  There is a
sticker on the back that says "for 9600 only". Before I saw it, I had put
it into a 7600, and it worked fine. When I replaced that one with a G3/266
I noticed the sticker.

Anybody have any idea what that sticker is about - beyond the obvious don't
put it in any machine but a 9600? Why will it only work in a 9600? Draw to
much power? To much heat? Any ideas?

Thanks!

--> Russ
