I've done all of the above suggestions

I was wondering - that piece of metal on the 85xx series that normally makes
contact with the heatsink on Processor cards - is it a grounding Mechanism
or something? If so - it doesn�t reach the new processor because it's too
short, so whatever it used to do, it isn't doing now ;)
