There's no mechanism for this to easily spread itself, since any code
that could use the system to propagate itself will require an
administrative password.

This is what I thought anyways.

As far as my big corruption issue goes, I finally just completely wiped the HD the other day and decided it was time to upgrade to 10.3.3. I kept having minor little issues with the OS ever since I had to resurrect it. O well, things are back to solid as ever now. 10.3.3 is real nice

and it seems, though they're not
talking, that Intego actually based all of this on the proof-of-concept
file that was discussed on usenet back in March.
